DBMS
DBMS
First pass, in progressDBMS ends up being one of the more comforting subjects, because a lot of it is logical once the rules are clear — especially normalization, which used to feel like a memorization exercise until I understood why each normal form actually exists.
Working through relational algebra and transactions right now. SQL query-output questions are next, since those show up reliably in PYQs and reward careful reading more than deep theory.
Topics I'm covering
- ER Modeling
- Relational Algebra & SQL
- Normalization — 1NF to BCNF
- Transactions & ACID Properties
- Concurrency Control
- Indexing & B+ Trees
- File Organization
PYQ notes
Query-output prediction and normalization-form identification are the recurring PYQ types I'm tracking.
From the journey
No journey entries for DBMS yet — I'll link them here as I actually get to it. See the full journey in the meantime.
