Digital Logic

Revision + PYQs

Digital Logic was one of the faster subjects to get through, mostly because a lot of it builds directly on first-year electronics that hadn't fully left my head.

Most of my time here now is PYQ practice rather than fresh learning — mainly K-maps and sequential circuit problems, done under time pressure instead of at leisure.

Topics I'm covering

  • Boolean Algebra & K-Maps
  • Combinational Circuits — Adders, MUX, Decoders
  • Sequential Circuits — Flip-Flops, Counters
  • Number Systems & Codes
  • Minimization Techniques

PYQ notes

K-map minimization and flip-flop-based sequential circuit questions are the recurring types I drill.

From the journey

Day 5

TCP Timers, a Data Structures Test, and an Unexpected Algorithm Revision

Noticed a gap in algorithm theory while taking a Data Structures test, and used that feedback to plan a weekend revision catch-up.

Day 4

A 60% Score, TCP Diagrams, and One Wrong AI Answer

Took a Digital Logic combinational circuits test, scored 15 out of 25, and identified static hazards as a topic to study.
